Samsung printer 'is good for small workgroups' March 31, 2011 08:53 by Chris Rails

People in need of a printer for a small office could find that the Samsung ML-3310ND, with its speed and eco-friendly toner cartridges, is a good choice.

Reviewer Daniel Robinson of V3.co.uk said he found the model to be a "fine printer" for small workgroups because it is both quick - with a 31-page-per-minute speed - and quiet enough not to distract those nearby.

He explained that it is compact so will sit comfortably on the end of a group of desks to offer all the black-and-white printing capabilities workers will need via USB or Ethernet connections.

Mr Robinson added that the Samsung ML-3310ND is capable of a monthly duty cycle, which he said should be sufficient for most small enterprises, although those with a larger workgroup may need to download upgrades.

The Samsung website states that toner cartridges can be made to last longer on the ML-3310ND by pressing the Eco button, or by converting printouts to duplex or two pages per side of paper.

The basic Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was released to the UK today - Thursday - and good luck to them too but can it compete in today's market? By the time the variants that make it desirable for individuals (and I don't just mean memory here) become available won't it have become a little passe?
