Oki unveils ML5700eco series March 03, 2011 08:53 by Chris Rails
Regular users of Oki toner cartridges who want to reduce their impact on the environment might wish to take a look at the company's new range of printers.
Oki has just unveiled its ML5700eco series, which uses power management systems to avoid energy wastage.

The company believes the power usage of devices in the series is "impressively low", as it requires only 1.5 watts when placed in Sleep Mode.
Other features of the ML5700eco series include a multi-position tractor feed to simplify the process of loading continuous paper.
Peter Dresser, product marketing manager at Oki in the UK, commented: "The new ML5700eco Series delivers proven reliability, best-in-class performance and great value for money."
This, he said, reflects the company's experience in Serial Impact Dot Matrix technology over many years.
The devices could help Oki address an issue it raised concerns about last year, as a study found many businesses are paying over the odds by outsourcing their printing instead of producing items such as posters in-house.
