Boost your wifi signal with a print at home Parabolic Antenna Booster! February 28, 2011 13:37 by Andy Warburton

Do you find that the range on your wireless router is somewhat lacking? Have thick walls in your house that block the signal? Not a problem, simply print this template out onto thick card stock or photo paper and cut it out.

Then wrap some tin-foil around the rectangular part and attach the mounting rack, then simply perch the booster on top of your antenna and hey presto, the shape of the booster will help focus your wireless signal in the direction you point it, giving you a more focused signal that will work over greater ranges!

I plan to use this myself when the summer arrives so I can sit at the bottom of the garden and control my wireless stereo system using nothing but the power of my iPhone! (Hooray for wireless!).
