Canon printers 'ideal for healthcare providers' February 25, 2011 16:53 by Chris Rails
Canon printer ink could be set to see a spike in demand among healthcare organisations around the world.

The manufacturer has stated that its products are ideal for groups operating in the sector, as they are reliable, precise and efficient.
Canon said these attributes, combined with the productivity of its printers, could directly help to improve the care they offer to patients.
Junichi Yoshitake, spokesman for the company, commented: "With groundbreaking document imaging and management solutions, Canon is uniquely positioned to offer a portfolio of solutions to streamline healthcare workflows and generate cost savings."
He added that Canon is committed to rolling out innovative devices that can play a "vital role" in each department of a healthcare provider.
Efficiency is certainly a buzzword in the UK's healthcare sector right now, with the NHS looking to adapt to widespread cuts in public spending.
Only this week, Sir David Nicholson, head of the NHS, told BBC News that hospitals in Britain face a "difficult" future.
