Canon Pixma series hailed as top inkjet printers Jan 28, 2011 18:23 by Chris Rails

Companies that use ink cartridges for Canon printers might want to cast an eye over the Pixma series if they are looking for a new inkjet device.

The range has just been recommended by TechNewsDaily, which said it has been highly rated by reviewers at CNET and PC World.

This, it stated, is because it can cope with heavy printing loads and boasts "beautiful aesthetics and low ink costs".

However, consumers who are already looking at Canon ink cartridges to go with a Pixma printer might wish to think about what they want from their device first.

Sue Marquette Poremba of TechNewsDaily said a standard inkjet printer will be sufficient if the user only intends to run off a few word documents.

She added that a photo printer would be more appropriate for those who plan to print pictures and require "more accurate colour output".

The Canon Pixma series has already been flagged up as a popular range by PrinterComparison.com, which said six of the top ten most viewed devices on its website last month were in this particular series.
