KYOCERA MITA Europe B.V is pleased to announce that several of its recently launched ECOSYS printers and MFPs have been awarded “outstanding” performance ratings by respected industry test laboratories. Additionally, the TASKalfa 250ci and TASKalfa 300ci workgroup colour MFPs have been rated “most reliable” in a comprehensive dealer survey carried out by Industry Analysts Inc.

Buyers Laboratory Inc (BLI)

Reliability and ease of use are two of the most important attributes of a desktop laser printer, and both of these were highly praised by Buyer’s Laboratory Inc (BLI) in their review of the KYOCERA FS-1320D and FS-1370DN. Analysts noted that both devices delivered “flawless” reliability during the two-month, 25,000-page laboratory evaluation. BLI also commended the low consumables cost and faster than average first print times, giving the two devices “Highly Recommended” ratings overall.

Business Equipment Research and Test Laboratories (BERTL)

In rating the 26 ppm colour FS-C2126MFP “Outstanding” BERTL highlighted the device’s “superior print and copy productivity” and “superb ease of use”. The reviewers were further impressed with the MFPs “exceptional performance speeds”. BERTL also rated the 40 ppm monochrome FS-3140MFP “outstanding”, praising its excellent performance in speed tests and describing it as an “incredibly cost-effective and reliable solution for small to mid-size workgroups.”

INDUSTRY ANALYSTS

Industry Analysts Inc. surveyed 177 independent dealer managers and technicians to find out which business machines were the most reliable. In the 20-29 page segment the TASKalfa 250ci and TASKalfa 300ci triumphed over the competition, printing on average 2000 pages more than competitive devices between emergency service calls. Furthermore, the KYOCERA MFPs were found to run for more than twice the industry average number of days between service calls.
