Competition Time - Name the StinkyInk Mascot - Now Closed!! January 26, 2010 11:25 by Matt Bird

Competition Now Closed!!!! Be in with a chance to win a Large Discount on Your Next Order! Just for a name....

Congratulations to John Southcombe for providing the winning name Stefan!

We realise this name has no reference to Ink, and there were numerous witty names utilising the market we operate in and the service we provide. However, somehow we started referring to him as Stefan within the office, purely out of habit... and we felt it was a sign. And thus Stefan was born :-)

Thank you all for your great contributions, and we wish you better luck next time!

After the mind blowing success of our caption competition, we realised something here in StinkyInks humble abode. Our customers are imaginative. Surprisingly so. Our minds have obviously been saturated by printer fumes, leading us unable to think of nothing but the quality of a printer cartridge; but all of you.... the possibilities are endless! So we thought to ourselves, let us harvest this collective ability to ignore reality for 1 more precious minute, and have you name our mascot.

You may have seen him lingering around the site for a while, holding important banners up and generally just looking his handsome self, but he is in fact nameless as of yet! As much as I wanted to name him Pepé Le Huw after our resident customer service employee (reference to stinky, and an employee, I don’t see why it won’t stick) – it was not embraced fully. Out do me if you dare:

So The Event, Finding A Name

Simply Take Every Feature And Note it down. What would you call this miracle of a man? Who puts so much time and effort into your ink and printing needs? Let those mind juices flow.

Stefan ?

Didn't everyone in school have a classmate called Stinky - he looks just so like them (I am going back 50 years though !) I really like the combination of Stinky with Inkredible = Mr Stinky Inkredible, but Matte Black is surely a winner for today's consumers.
