Greetings from Shropshire,  in this edition we let you know how we managed when Shropshire was snowbound,  and we introduce you to Richard Twigg who is running the London Marathon.

We also update you on the customer service awards, ink spots and launch our printer revenge (for a bit of fun)  idea.

Snow Bound

We've quickly recovered from all the snow of recent weeks. It was the first time in memory the Royal Mail were unable to collect. A great big thanks to Joy, in the Customer Service department, who dug her car out and drove round all the sorting offices to eventually find one open in Kidderminster ensuring that against all the odds we still managed to get your packages into the Royal Mail system on time as per our same day despatch guarantee.

London Marathon

As the nights start to lighten up you might see a young man running around the Shropshire countryside with a StinkyInk logo on his running shirt.  This is in fact Richard Twigg who has entered the London Marathon for the first time.  Not a runner by nature Richard is putting himself through the torturous process to raise money for cancer research. If you're not supporting  anyone in the marathon this year please consider supporting him.  If you want to see Richard, read about his story or sponsor him visit: http://www.justgiving.com/richardtwigg  Cancer research is a fantastic cause and needs all our support.

Customer Service Awards

My thanks to all of you who responded to my last newsletter request to vote for us in the Computer Active Customer Service Awards.  Over 2,500 of you clicked through to the Computer Active Web Site - so again a big thank you from all our staff.

Ink Spots

Our Ink Spots campaign has gathered pace over the past few weeks we now have nearly 100 organisations registered.  So we'll soon be giving away multi function ink jet and laser printers.  That's great but we want to give away many, many more.  As well as buying ink and passing the tokens onto schools and charities you can just tell them to register and get the information pack for free.  They register at www.ink-spots.co.uk

Just to let you know there has been a small change in the distribution of ink spots.  We are no longer sending out separate tokens, a single token with the number of ink spots you have earned is printer as a label on your invoice. All you have to do is cut it out and pass it onto the school or charity.  You get one ink spot for every £10 spent and each one is worth up to £1.

Printer Revenge

If you're anything like me you'll have had problems with your printer either getting it to work in the first place or when you're changing the ink or paper jams or whatever.  At that moment a picture flashes into my mind of how I'd like to take revenge on the machine ( my anger management course instructor called this visualisation) and I begin to feel a bit better. This got me thinking of how I could take this a stage further.  I'd like you to tell me how you'd like to take revenge on your printers.  I'll pick the top 10 or so and I'll then create a facility on my web site for you to take your revenge.  Oh I feel better just thinking about it. To let me know your preferred revenge email me at john@stinkyink.com

StinkyInk Shop

Don't forget our stinkyink shop www.stinkyink.com -  we're open 24/7,  even when its snowing,  for all your printer supplies.

Remember 'DON'T THINK, INK THINK STINKYINK'

Mr Stinkyink

PS I was joking about the anger management course.
